About Frau's Cabin:
We are located only minutes from Matagorda Beach and the Gulf
of Mexico. We are #35 on River Bend Road, Co. Rd. 257, a quiet
street off Co. Rd. 2031, Beach Rd. Access to offshore fishing,
bay fishing and Matagorda Beach. Local restaurants and convenience
stores are just minutes away.
Features:
 One
large bedroom and sleeper sofa - Comfortable AC and heat.
Sleeps 8 persons comfortably...three queen size beds and one regular
bed. Home has 2 baths, large kitchen, living area, screened porch
upstairs plus upper deck. Refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven,
blender, coffee maker, toaster oven, pots/pans, dishes, kitchen
utensils. Radio with cassette tape player, two TV's, one with
VCR....Bring your own tapes for the VCR and cassette player. All
bath towels and linens provided.
Lighted fish cleaning table with sink and running water. BBQ pit
for outdoor cooking or grilling. Beautiful view of Colorado River,
though we are not on the water. Completely cemented beneath house...plenty
of parking room.
Location:
We are located off highway 60 as you enter Matagorda. Turn left
off Hwy 60 at the blinking light on to Co. Rd. 2031, cross the
swing bridge at the Intracoastal waterway and travel south about
a mile. You will turn right on to Co. Rd. 257(River Bend Rd.)
You will see the public boat ramp and River Bend Restaurant on
your left after you have turned on to River Bend Rd. The road
curves after you pass the restaurant, you will be traveling north
parallel to the river. Our house is #35 on the right side of the
street.

you bring:
You have to provide your own charcoal, lighter fluid, insect repellent,
beach towels, beach chairs, personal toiletries and food...Grocery
stores are close by in Matagorda if you forget anything!
No
Smoking inside of house, No pets allowed. Please
be sure to turn off ceiling fans and electrical appliances....do
not use electrical air fresheners...Please take your garbage with
you when you depart.
Rental
Rates:
$125 per night, weekdays or weekends, two
night minimum.
Rent six (6) days and get one night FREE.
The size of your group must be included with your reservation.

Information:
A security deposit of $250
required in advance for all stays to confirm your reservation.
All rents due must be paid in full prior to check-in. No refunds
will be given for early departures or for weather related reasons.
Deposits are not refundable for cancellations unless made 30 days
or more prior to your arrival date.

Upon
satisfactory inspection of the property, deposits will be returned
within 10 days. If any house inventory is found to be missing,
damaged or destroyed, the entire deposit will be forfeited.
Check in time is 3:00 pm - Departure 12:00 noon. We accept cash,
money orders and checks.
