Welcome to the Chambers' River Rental - 106 Beach Rd. (FM 2031)

Located on the Colorado River, just a little over 3 miles past the drawbridge, and minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, this 4 bedroom 3 bath home has all the amenities that the avid angler or birder could want. East and West Matagorda Bays are just a short boat ride away. The town of Matagorda is just a short drive, and public boat ramps are nearby as well.

Upstairs has central air and heat, with an open floor plan including a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and living area with DishNetwork and DVD. Dining room has oak table that seats 6. There are 3 bedrooms with lots of closet space, and 2 full baths with spacious walk-in showers made of cultured marble. Master bath also has a tub.

Master bedroom has a king size bed and a large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has 1 twin and 1 full bed. Third bedroom has 1 queen. Downstairs you will be comfortable with a new A/C and heat unit. Bedroom has 1 full bed with a spacious full bath with shower.

Outside you can relax in a screened-in porch and do nothing, or fish from the lighted 30’ pier, also providing plenty of room to dock your boat. Clean your catch at the lighted fish-cleaning table. There is an upright freezer upstairs in the utility room to store that “catch”.

There is a BBQ pit with firebox, large enough to cook for a crew. Also crab traps, propane burner, boiling pot and frying pot w/baskets are all here for your enjoyment. You will need to bring your own propane and charcoal or wood.

House sleeps 8-9 people comfortably, maximum of 10.

All linens and towels are provided, excluding beach towels.

Washer & dryer located upstairs in the utility room for your convenience.

Items to bring:

Charcoal, lighter fluid, insect repellant, beach towels, beach chairs, lawn chairs, food, & personal toiletries, etc.

Rental rates:

$300 per night with 2 night minimum
$350 per night with 3 night minimum for holidays
(Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving)
$1500 per week (week is 7 days and 6 nights)

Last minute reservations are welcome; please call for information.

Check-in/Check-out Times:

Check-in time 3:00 PM --- Check-out 11:00 AM

No maid service - house is cleaned after each rental.

Payments:

A security deposit of $250 and a signed copy of the lease agreement are due no later that 7 days after your reservation is made to secure your reservation. All rents must be paid in full 10 days prior to check in.

Payments accepted include money orders, cash, or personal check (must clear).
Deposits are nonrefundable for cancellations unless made 10 days prior to arrival date

Deposit Refunds:

Upon satisfactory inspection of the property, deposits will be returned within 7 days. Any property damage is renters’ responsibility and all or part of the deposit may be forfeited.
