FEATURES:
Large covered deck with wonderful front row view of the
Gulf of Mexico. This is where you can relax, watch the water,
birds, eat, sunbathe, read etc. It's WONDERFUL! Large, airy
den with open kitchen; 2 bedrooms overlooking the salt marsh;
One upstairs bathroom with shower; One rustic half bath
downstairs in utility room plus outside shower.....The house
sleeps 7. More specifically there are 2 full size beds,
one in each bedroom; 3 twin beds+ 1 small twin bed in closet.
A/C - There are three window units, 3 fans, and screened
windows. Moderately fancy, very functional, comfortable
and safe.
PROVIDED:
Beds, sheets (2 double + 3 twins), towels, Satellite TV,
refrigerator, stove, microwave, blender, coffee maker, pots/pans,
plates, cups, eating utensils, washer/dryer & laundry
detergent, dish soap, trash bags, SOS pads, sponges, toilet
paper.
Maid service provided at check
out.
NOT PROVIDED:
Food, drinking water, ice, foil, paper towels, bath soap,
radio, flashlight, sun screen, deep woods OFF, (available
in Matagorda).
RENTAL RATES:
$400 for two nights; $175 for each additional
night.
$850 per week.

"Check In Time" is not before 4pm and "Check
Out Time" is before 1pm.

AREA FACILITIES:
Sandy beach, picnic tables, swimming, RV Park, public restrooms/showers,
fishing pier, inland lake ( 3-Mile Lake) behind the dunes
that you can drive to, public boat ramp at Riverbend Restaurant
(very pleasant), on the right shortly after you have crossed
the drawbridge. Neon Palm pizza parlor in Matagorda. In
Bay City, try the K2 restaurant.
HOW TO GET
THERE:
From I-45 South to 288 south, to 35 west, to 60 south in
Bay City (through Wadsworth- SPEED TRAP) to Matagorda. Left
at yellow flashing lights (FM 2031) in Matagorda. Over Draw
Bridge (the Intercoastal Waterway). Drive to coast- about
7 miles- Colorado River on right. Left at two rows of beach
houses (Sterling Shores). #70 is about halfway along on
the right beach side.
