Sterling Shores Homeowners Association

Summer is approaching fast and once again it is time for our annual meeting. To our membership, I wish to extend a warm and friendly hello and hope that you can/will join us. To all prospective members, I wish to say welcome and extend an open hand to come and join us! We have an abundance of new business to discuss and attend to.
Our annual meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 27, 2006 (Memorial Day Weekend) at the Christ Episcopal Church from 10:00a.m till 12:00p.m. The church's address is 206 Cypress Street in the township of Matagorda, Texas. Please plan to arrive early so that we can get everyone registered and dues collected. This should give us time to conduct all business and hear from our invited guests. George Deshotels, our Precinct 2 County Commissioner, will briefly speak to the assembly and then entertain questions. Mr. Deshotels would also like to extend an invitation to all homeowners and guests to attend the annual Matagorda Fire Department Bar-B-Que and fund raiser afterwards.
I invite you to check out our link on the www.matagordatexas.com website. Please bring any ideas, suggestions, comments, etc. to the meeting with you. This will be a great opportunity for all to share ideas and desires for the future of Sterling Shores. Also FYI, Senate Bill 1091 passed by the Texas Legislature 08/99 requires all homeowners to contact the Matagorda Co. 911 Coordinator at (979)244-6801 to establish your new 911 address.
Sterling Shores and the Matagorda area have really changed in the past few years. Again, I invite you to the Sterling Shores Homeowners Association's Annual Meeting. Let us all attend and share positives so that our beachfront community can continue to prosper and become everything that nature intended. The future of Matagorda has never been brighter. Together we can make Sterling Shores better and more advantageous for all!!
