Sterling Shores Neighborhood Watch Signs - Fall 2006
This article and the picture were included in the Matagorda Advocate on
Thursday, October 12, 2006.
"Four neighborhood watch signs were recently purchased by the Sterling
Shores Homeowners Association. Thanks go out to George Deshotels and his
Precinct 2 workers for installing the signs and to the Matagorda Sheriff's
Department for their involvement. Pictured left to right: Barney Mason,
Jr.; Bill frost; Sgt. C. W. Stephens; Shelley Mason."
We have new 30 MPH signs posted on our street and the Sheriff's Department
will be monitoring the speed and issuing citations during high occupancy
days to those people who are speeding. The 20 MPH signs can only be used
in school zones so they removed the one 20 MPH sign that was located on
our street. Please inform your guests, renters, etc., that citations will
be issued for speeding. We must all adhere to this action to keep from
having a serious accident.
We are still working on replacing the present Sterling Shores sign with
the new one that is being developed.
Thanks for your support.
